Wine tourism – oenotourisme

The concept of Wine Tourism is becoming more and more popular. Winegrowers have always enjoyed sharing their love of wine with you through their wine tastings but now some winegrowers are offering more.

Under this label, we offer you, with the Departmental Committee of Tarn Tourism, a stay combining accommodation and breakfast, wine tasting and winery tours plus a visit to  the Museum of Vine and Wine, and a greedy moment at our dinner table. For more details, contact 33(0)5 63 77 32 30

Cuvée Rosanna :

Entirely vinified in oak barrels, it is derived from a hand selection of the best grapes of our three plots. Matured in the same oak barrels, the wine combines harmoniously with the wood.

Balanced blend of Braucol, Duras and Syrah.

Tasting : a light garnet dress, the nose is balanced, evokes the cherry. In  mouth it’s like velvet, evoking the garrigue (yes!).

Food pairings:  it can be enjoyed as an aperitif, this wine also goes perfectly on gourmet food.

Cuvée du Poète

Made from a base of Braucol and Syrah (60%) with an additional Duras (10%) and Merlot (30%), our poet cuvée, has had a long maceration (21 days) and many blackouts during alcoholic fermentation with partial reincorporation of press wine.

It was then raised in oak barrels for 12 months (half French oak, half American oak).

Tasting notes: The color is strong, the slightly woody nose hints of black fruit aromas. Mouth, soft and round, is well structured. Light licorice emerge.

Food pairings: Serve between 16 ° and 18 °, this wine goes well with red meats, sauces and dishes.

Cuvée Théa

It was developed from local varieties (25% and 25% Braucol Duras) with additional material by Syrah (50%).

It has had a long maceration (21 days) and frequent pumping during alcoholic fermentation.

The wine is in tanks for 9 months, with a partial micro-oxygenation.

Tasting : the dress has brown garnet, the nose is pleasant around black fruits and spices, well balanced palate. You can keep this wine several years.

Food pairings: to serve between 16 ° and 18 °, this wine accompanies the fish generously with sauce, sausage, veal, duck and red meats.

Cuvée Rosé

Our rosé is made of red grapes, mainly composed of Syrah (70%), supplemented by Duras (30%).

A slow fermentation at 18 ° is performed to preserve the fruit. The bottling is done in March.

Tasting notes: This wine of intense color with raspberry aromas has a fruity nose pulling the sweet and round on the palate, with notes of citrus fruits.

Food pairings: our rosé can be served between 12 ° and 15 °. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes harmoniously on fish tartare, vegetable terrines, white meats and exotic recipes. Ideal for your vacation in Touny les Roses B&B…
