THE TERROIR OF MAYNE LALANDE
The terroir of Listrac decomposes geologically as follows: 50% of the vineyard area consists of Garonne gravel and Pyrenees, and 50% clay and limestone
soil.
The Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot planted on warmer soils, gravel, with rootstocks in short cycles to optimize the maturity of
these later varieties. The Merlots are on clay-limestone soils where they fit best.
